Ch. Raglan Oliver of Arylan
Oliver came to me from Amy Hill's Raglan Cardigans in Ocala, Florida, by cooperation with Becky Martin of Paradiddle. I am told that he had a "look apart" in his litter of 13, and I feel blessed that he found his way to me.
His plus column includes ample neck and forechest, extremely nice shoulder layback, generous rib spring, well-angulated stifles, short hocks, big bone and a perfectly sloping croup. For icing on the cake Oliver placed in the 90th percentile on his Penn-hip test!
He breezed to his championship with five 3-point majors in 12 show days, receiving strong praise for sound overall structure as well as excellent Cardigan type. Pretty good for a boy who is basically shy and does not want to show. At home he is confident and happy.
I believe that Oliver will produce very well, in particular, it appears, with relatively compact, low-stationed bitches. He and Arylan's own Gig produced a stunning girl Belle who is just beginning her show career. He and a favorite bitch of mine Hannah (Ch. Coedwig's Carbon Blue x Pecan Valley Poetic Justice) gave us 2 nice show prospects, including Chickie. And I expect to see great results from Oliver and my own Wham in a few months.
